About Energy Communications Council

History

The Energy Communications Council (ECC) is in the second phase of an effort begun in 2007 to increase consumer awareness of the comfort, reliability, cleanliness, efficiency, safety, and convenience of heating oil by working with the news media and other energy stakeholders.

Mission

The ECC’s mission is to improve public knowledge of modern heating oil and oilheat systems and clearly explain the growing role of energy efficiency and renewables in the heating oil sector.

Members

ECC’s members are leaders in the heating oil industry – state and regional trade associations that represent the hard working men and women who make the equipment and deliver the fuel providing warmth and comfort to millions of American homes and businesses.

National Oilheat Research Alliance ECC is funded in part through the National Oilheat Research Alliance.
